1. Tell us about yourself (background/education/experience).

I was born in Orlando, Florida. I come from a large family, with six sisters and 1 brother. My parents loved children and were also foster parents. I grew up playing soccer and the cello. I graduated from Stetson University with a degree in history. I also played Division 2 soccer for Stetson.

2. How long have you been in the industry?

I have worked for Bank of Central Florida for 4 years, but have been in Commercial Banking for 12 years.

3. What do you like most about living in Florida?

There is always something to do, no matter where your interests lie. From the 175 Florida State Parks, theme parks, to the museums, sports teams, and other rich history and cultural events found in Central Florida, there is something for everyone.

4. What advice do you have for anyone looking to buy/sell/refinance right now?

My advice is to ensure that anyone looking to buy commercial property has enough money saved up for the down payment. It is always appropriate to have a robust savings plan both for short term and long term goals.

6. What would you be doing if you weren’t in your current role?

Financial Advisor or something in the financial industry.

7. What is the most gratifying aspect of what you do?

No commercial deal is ever the same. I enjoy working with the numbers, but also getting to use the creative side of my brain at the same time.

8. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I wish I had the ability to learn how to be multi-lingual.

9. What are your favorite indoor/outdoor activities?

Hiking and experiencing nature. I also enjoy exploring museums and learning what gifts they have to teach us!

10. If you wrote an autobiography about your life, what would you title it?

How To Get Along Well with Others

As I mentioned earlier, I grew up in a big family and with my parents also being foster parents, there were lots of kids and people around, so I learned at a very early age, how to get along well with others.

11. In your opinion, what is the coolest design trend you are seeing in homes today?

Don't be afraid to go bold with colors and patterns in your home!

12. Where is your favorite place in the world to be?

In a National or State Park, exploring nature and everything it has to offer.

13. If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?

I would like to meet Abraham Lincoln and have a conversation with him about how he honed his leadership skills.

14. Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life?

I would like Drew Barrymore to play me in a movie. She is a classic, down to earth, and so grounded.

I have so many, it would be hard to choose just one!

18. Describe your perfect day.

Everyday is my perfect day and I am where I am supposed to be.

19. What is the most unusual or exciting thing you've encountered during a transaction?

Gopher Tortoises and the laws surrounding these beautiful creatures.

20. Anything else you would like our readers to know about you or your company?

I enjoy teaching students and young adults about financial literacy and its importance in their life. One of my goals is to hike and explore every one of the 63 National Parks in the United States. I am halfway to my goal.
